Fisk Industries acquires pubic hair dye brand bettybeauty

THE WHAT? Personal care manufacturer and distributor Fisk Industries has announced the acquisition of pubic hair dye brand bettybeauty.

THE DETAILS The acquisition was first pursued by Fisk prior to the pandemic, with bettybeauty said to have “caught the company’s attention for breaking barriers in the consumer products and beauty fields and pioneering one of the world’s leading hair color dyes.”

Founded in 2006 by Nancy Jarecki in NYC, bettybeauty inc.’s hair color dyes are safe and specially formulated to cover the pubic and body hair of women and men.

As part of the announcement, Fisk Industries has also released plans to launch Cover your gray – betty for men, a hair color dye specially formulated for men’s beards, mustaches, and body hair, including pubic hair.

Financial terms were not disclosed, with Jarecki having agreed to continue with Fisk Industries in an advisory capacity.

THE WHY? Jarecki: “On the heels of the widespread popularity of betty, I’m excited to partner with Fisk Industries to help bring this brand to its next phase of growth, as we break more ground in the safe hair dye space with the launch of Cover your gray – betty for men.

“Men no longer need to be ashamed of grays on their face, body or ‘down there’; now they can finally use a product specially made for these sensitive areas, instead of applying harsh hair dyes currently on the market. Plus, they can enjoy betty for men’s anti-aging and confidence-boosting benefits.”
