THE WHAT? Frankfurt Airport Retail has unveiled a new beauty destination at the German hub’s Terminal 1 B-None-Schengen, according to a report published by DFNI Online.
THE DETAILS The 855sqm store boasts several exclusive brands and products as well as travel retail stalwarts from the like of The Estee Lauder Companies and L’Oréal as well as experiential elements such as The Looklab, an LED installation with brand and product animations, a lipstick bar, minis and on-trend brands such as Pixi.
THE WHY? The space is designed to appeal to younger shoppers, cater to the latest beauty trends, such as clean beauty, and be more sustainable with modular furniture which can be adapted and reused. Georg Furhmann, Managing Director, Frankfurt Airport Retail told DFNI Online, “At Frankfurt Airport, we are offering international travellers, whose numbers are growing again, a shop concept in a class of its own. The perfume and cosmetics product group is presented on a new scale here.”
