Function of Beauty appoints Alexandra Papazian as CEO

THE WHAT? Customizable beauty, skin and hair care brand Function of Beauty has announced the appointment of Alexandra Papazian as CEO. 

THE DETAILS Papazian will succeed Zahir Dossa, Co-Founder of the company, who will remain on the board as Executive Chairman. 

The exec has vast experience in the beauty world, working for global beauty brands such as Giorgio Armani, Yves Saint Laurent, Ralph Lauren, Shu Uemera, Viktor & Rolf and Maison Margiela. 

As part of her new role Papazian will be responsible for accelerating Function of Beauty’s global growth, driving product innovation, expanding into new channels and markets, and continuing to build on the brand’s industry-leading customized manufacturing capabilities.

THE WHY? Looking at the future, Function of Beauty has stated that it is the right time to ‘transition to the next generation of leadership.’

Dossa stated, “As we look to build on our momentum and move even further into personalization, we are confident that now is the right time to transition to the next generation of leadership.
