THE WHAT? Scandi fashion brand Ganni has unveiled its first foray into the cosmetics world – a line of biodegradable cosmetic glitter produced in collaboration with Submission Beauty.
THE DETAILS True to Ganni’s B-corp status and Submission’s ethical stance, the glitter is made from cellulose from eucalyptus trees, containing zero plastic and is said to feel 40 percent softer on the skin, creating a novel iridescent effect.
THE WHY? The Danish fashion line and Californian beauty brand have worked together in the past but this collab is a first for both, cementing their relationship and, presumably, allowing Ganni to test the appetite for its own beauty line while spreading the word about the zero waste beauty brand.
