Originally Laboratoires Garnier, Garnier is now the second largest brand of the L’Oréal Group. Selling hair and skin care internationally the brand is split into four categories and has seven areas of expertise including Ultra DOUX, Fructis, SkinActive, Ambre Solaire, Nutrisse and Olia.

Garnier has fallen eight places on the ranking list since 2017 despite it continually being L’Oréal’s second largest brand. Garnier has of late cemented its sustainability commitment and in 2017 supported UNICEF’s overall humanitarian support with a donation of €1,200,000, was the first mass market brand to receive Cradle to Cradle certification in 2018 as well as continue its Rinse, Recycle, Repeat campaign.
