THE WHAT?  Marc Baland has been named the new president of Garnier, succeeding Adrien Koskas, who served since July 2019 and is now appointed as the managing director of the group’s consumer goods division in the SAPMENA region.

THE DETAILS  In 2023, Baland held the title of global head of brand experience at Garnier and played a pivotal role in initiating a partnership with the Heritage of Pride NGO.

THE WHY?  In 2022, Garnier recorded a revenue increase of 14.6%, marking its highest growth in 15 years. The brand has also been proactive in sustainability, operating in 64 countries and opening a plastic waste collection centre in Chennai, India, in alliance with Plastics for Change.
