Gerresheimer due to launch new glass packaging for cosmetics industry

German packaging manufacturer Gerresheimer has expanded its range of cosmetics packaging designs.

The company, founded in Düsseldorf in 1864, is due to showcase its new range of glass flacons, jars and bottles at Luxe Pack in New York, at stand A303 on the New York Pier 92, on May 13 and 14.

Nicola Balena, Sales Director Cosmetic Glass at Gerresheimer, commented, “A perfume bottle or a crème jar is what gives the fragrance brand its unique look. Glass quality, design and finish have to be perfectly orchestrated.”

Gerresheimer is a global organization with 11,000 employees and 40 manufacturing operations across in Europe, North and South America and Asia.

The company’s product portfolio includes pharmaceutical packaging products as well as convenient and safe drug delivery systems such as insulin pens, inhalers, pre-fillable syringes, vials, ampoules, bottles and containers for liquid and solid pharmaceuticals with closure and safety systems, plus cosmetic packaging products.
