THE WHAT? P&G-owned Gillette has launched a new shaving and skin care brand, which as its name – Planet Kind – suggests, promises to be kind to skin and the planet.
THE DETAILS The packaging is recyclable and made from 85 percent recycled paper and plastic or infinitely recyclable aluminium and the line-up also includes a razor with a 60 percent recycled plastic handle.
THE WHY? The launch supports the brand’s 2030 Sustainability Goals. As John Claughton, VP of North America Grooming at P&G explains, “Planet Kind makes it easier to incorporate eco-friendly choices into your shaving and skin care routine. We know consumers are looking for sustainable products that are kind to skin, and don’t want to compromise on performance. Our Planet Kind products are designed with this in mind and are backed by a brand people already know and trust.”
