Glamour magazine UK launches online beauty retail platform

UK fashion and lifestyle magazine, Glamour, has teamed up with online cosmetics retailer Feel Unique to launch Glamour Beauty Boutique.

The online store, which is due to launch later this year, will feature products curated by the magazine’s team of beauty writers and editors.

Jim Buckle, Chief Operating Officer of Feel Unique noted that the collaboration will offer the magazine’s readers “the very best beauty shopping experience available, accessing the UK’s widest selection of products, to discover the ones that suit them, to look and feel their best, in their own unique way,” according to InPublishing.co.uk.

Glamour is the latest in a string of UK magazines to launch a retail division. In February, Marie Claire UK announced plans to enter into partnership with Ocado subsidiary Speciality Stores. In 2014, Grazia bought up online boutique fashion marketplace London-Boutiques.com, and began selling over 250 brands, renamning it Graziashop.com. And in 2012, Look magazine launched a range of makeup range retailing through Superdrug.
