The global fatty amines market is predicted to reach a value of US$2.19 billion by 2020, up from US$1.72 billion in 2014, according to a new report released by Research and Markets. In volume terms, the market is expected to grow from 615 kilo tonne in 2014 to 718 kilo tonne in 2020.
The market is segmented into water treatment chemicals, agrochemicals, asphalt additives, oilfield chemicals and others, which includes application in mining, personal care and fabric softener. While the water treatment chemicals accounts for 29 percent of market value, growth is expected to be driven by the relatively small asphalt additives and others categories.
