The global micro-encapsulation market will grow at a compound annual growth rate of between 8 and 8.5 percent between 2015 and 2021, according to a new report published by Decision Databases, to reach a value of US$8.5 billion.
The market will be driven by growing use in the pharmaceutical industry as well as growth of end-user industries such as detergents. Challenges to the industry include the cost involved in research of micro-encapsulation techniques.
