Glossier names former L’Oréal exec Kleo Mack as new Vice President of Brand

THE WHAT? Glossier has named former L’Oréal executive Kleo Mack as its new Vice President of Brand, effective 19th April. 

THE DETAILS As part of her role Mack will be leading the growth of Glossier’s global brand and will oversee brand marketing, brand strategy, consumer insights and the social media teams. 

Prior to her appointment Mack served as VP of Corporate Strategic Marketing at L’Oréal, where she drove company-wide marketing strategies in close collaboration with the CMO. The beauty exec has also worked for IT cosmetics, Tarte Cosmetics and Pureology. 

THE WHY? D2C company Glossier is looking at its next stage of growth, highlighted by the appointment of a former L’Oréal key player. 

A new role for the company, Glossier Senior Vice President of Marketing Ali Weiss said the position has never been more ‘exciting or important.’

Writing in a blog post, she said, “Kleo’s creativity and appetite for scale make her an ideal leader as we become an increasingly global company and bring new offline and digital experiences to life this year and in years to come.”
