Gwyneth Paltrow develops Goop brand with Celebrity Cruises partnership

THE WHAT? Gwyneth Paltrow has announced a partnership between her wellness brand Goop and Celebrity Cruises, with the two companies hosting a “wellness-at-sea experience.” 

THE DETAILS The 11-night Mediterranean cruise will be held between 30th August – 6th September, with guests getting the chance to meet Paltrow and Goop Chief Content Officer, Elise Loehnen, as well as take part in group sessions. 

The cruise will offer Q&A sessions as well as keynote addresses, with tickets priced from $750. 

Paltrow said, “With Goop at Sea, we’ll be invoking that adventurous spirit with a series of transformative experiences led by a few of our most-trusted wellness practitioners and healers.”

Celebrity Cruises continued, “Whether guests are looking to push past a block in a relationship, reconnect with their own body, quiet their inner critic, find purpose, joy or five minutes to destress through transformative work, they will develop a toolkit that they can take with them off the ship and into their everyday life.”

THE WHY? The partnership highlights Goop’s intention to continue diversifying its wellness offering, merging into new markets and tapping into new consumer groups.  

Paltrow said, “This partnership with Celebrity Cruises allows us to bring Goop to new audiences and to meet readers where they are. Goop’s brand DNA is based in curiosity, and curiosity is an essential component of travel.”
