Head & Shoulders Philippines launches refill pouches; made with 50 percent less plastic than bottles

THE WHAT? Procter & Gamble-owned Head & Shoulders Philippines has launched new refill pouches for its Cool Menthol and Smooth & Silky variants.

THE DETAILS The pouches are said to use 50 percent less plastic per ml than the brand’s standard 330ml bottle, and can be used to fill up empty bottles or used alone due to a resealable cap.

THE WHY? The new refill option is part of P&G’s goal to deliver more sustainable and environmentally-friendly options, and is part of the company’s strategy to deliver a more eco-friendly product line and business model by 2030.

Justine Nuque, Brand Director for Total Beauty Care – Hair, said, “Head & Shoulders supports the call for more sustainable and environmentally-friendly options through this initiative as a contribution in helping save the planet and being a positive force for beauty in the world.”
