Henkel cuts the ribbon on Moscow plant

Henkel has cut the ribbon on its newly modernized Beauty Care plant in Noginsk, Russia. The facility underwent extensive renovation, with its logistics capacity increased and new manufacturing lines installed.

The plant will produce shampoos, hair dyes and shower gels for the German FMCG manufacturer’s Palette, Syoss, Fa, Schauma, Taft and Gliss Kur brands, serving the Russian and CIS markets.

“Reconstruction and expansion of our Beauty Care plant in the Moscow region is an important part of Henkel’s localization strategy in the Russian market,” said Sergey Bykovskih, ‎President Henkel Russia and General Manager Beauty Care Russia & CIS. “Ever since the plant’s acquisition in 2013, we have been consistently investing in its expansion. Over the past three years, we quadrupled its production volume. We are confident that the implementation of our localization strategy today means successful long-term development of the company in the market.”
