Henkel has set up a new global supply chain base in Singapore, according to a report published by Singapore Business Review.
The new facility will work alongside fellow Amsterdam-based hub to standardize the German FMCG manufacturer’s purchasing, production and logistics processes for all of its three divisions.
“Singapore was selected for its excellent logistics capabilities, availability of supply chain talent and geographical location in the heart of Asia, which is a key growth market for Henkel. Together the two global hubs are very well positioned to manage the end to end strategic agenda of Global Supply Chain Hub,” said Bertrand Conquéret, Henkel Senior Vice President.
