THE WHAT? French luxury house Hermès is set to pay a one-time end-of-year bonus of €4,000 to each of its 19,700 employees following a Q4 sales rise of 23 percent YOY.
THE DETAILS CEO Axel Dumas presented the year-end bonuses at a meeting with analysts, as well as unveiling plans to maintain recruitment with the two new manufacturing sites in France.
THE WHY? With 2022 full year revenues rising 29 percent to €11.6 billion, the luxury house is rewarding employees thanks to its ‘very strong’ 2022 and record profits.
Hermès will pay approximately €1.4 billion to investors through its dividend of €13 per share.
