THE WHAT? Hindustan Unilever has announced that Rohit Jawa will take over as the Managing Director and CEO of HUL from June 27, 2023.

THE DETAILS Jawa is currently President, Unilever South Asia and CEO Designate and whole-time Director at the company. Prior to this role, he was EVP North Asia and Chairman Unilever China for five years.

THE WHY? Unilever said in a statement that Jawa is an experienced operator with huge marketing and commercial expertise and a track record of delivery. He has a proven track record of sustained business results across India, Southeast Asia, and North Asia. He is deeply passionate about integrating the strength of traditional markets with digital technologies and future-fit business models.
