The Chairman and CEO of International Flavors & Fragrances, Andreas Fibig, is among seven new members whom have been elected to the Executive Committee of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD).
“I am extremely proud and excited to be elected to the WBSCD’s Executive Committee,” said Fibig. “This is an opportunity to work with influential leaders to make positive, lasting changes in society. I have often said that when it comes to sustainability, we will not accept the status quo. IFF’s participation in this organization is another way we can help leave the world a better place for generations to come.”
Chaired by Paul Polman, Unilever CEO, the WBCSD is a CEO-led organization of future-focused companies that seeks to motivate the global business community to work towards a sustainable future for business, society and the environment.
“It gives me great pleasure to welcome seven new colleagues to the WBCSD Executive Committee,” said Polman. “Collectively they share a strong commitment to sustainability and to the belief that business must work together to accelerate the transition to a sustainable world as quickly as possible.”
