in-cosmetics Global 2020 postponed due to ongoing coronavirus concerns

THE WHAT? Reed Exhibitions has announced it is to postpone in-cosmetics Global 2020 until 30th June to 2nd July, due to ongoing concerns surrounding the coronavirus outbreak.

THE DETAILS Previously scheduled to take place from 31st March to 2nd April, the event is not expected to have any substantial changes, with the previously published event schedule running as planned on the new dates with ‘minimal changes.’

THE WHY? Due to the fast spread of the coronavirus, many public events have been cancelled or postponed, including Shanghai Fashion Week.

In an email statement Reed said, “This decision has been difficult because of the major importance of the event to the personal care industry. We heard from many of you about your concerns and the travel restrictions that have been put in place in some countries and decided that postponement is the best course of action to still deliver a high-quality business event.”
