Inolex eyes growth in beauty and personal care with new China Centre of Excellence additions

US ingredients company Inolex has added to its Chinese Centre of Excellence with increased lab capabilities and additions in a bid to grow, with a focus on alternative preservation solutions and natural, innovative ingredients for the beauty and personal care industry.

As part of the extension to the Guangzhou-based centre, the company has added a full-scale laboratory to complement the company’s existing commercial and technical centre. According to the company the new lab ‘will provide services for challenge tests and MIC tests for internal and external projects related to formulations containing alternative preservation systems.’

David Plimpton, INOLEX CEO, said, “The mega trend that China represents is priority for us. Our investment in Guangzhou helps ensure that we remain focused on the specific demands of the Chinese market as it continues to evolve as beauty care hub.”

In addition there has been several new appointments at the site, including Anna Gao as Account Manager, East of China, Mengru Li as a Microbiologist and Jane Xiong as Applications Manager.
