Intuitive Middle East wins Coty account following two-month pitch process

Middle Eastern Communications company Intuitive Middle East has won the GCC media operations for the beauty brand Coty in a deal said to be worth more than $30 million in monitored advertising spend, according to a report by Campaign Middle East.

The account was won following a two-month pitch process, while Dentsu Aegis Network’s Vizeum will take over the Iran account.

As part of the deal, which takes over from Havas Media Middle East, Intuitive will head up the integrated media services across the Coty Consumer Beauty, Coty Luxury and Coty Professional Beauty divisions in what is thought to be a two-year contract. This will include strategy, planning and buying.

While not confirming the deal, Ramzy Abou Chacra, Regional Managing Director, told Campaign, “Such a win would be a testament to our solid position in the market, our data-led understanding of consumers in MENA and, above all, our team’s passion. Our aim is to bring a balanced approach to our clients that combines short-term performance with long-term strategic outcomes.”
