Israeli authorities expected to approve cannabis-based cosmetics

The Israeli Health Ministry is expected to conclude that cannabidiol (CBD)-based cosmetics and personal care products pose no harm to health, and therefore the country will shortly become another market for this burgeoning industry, according to a report published by Jerusalem Online.

The regulatory body is thought to be on the brink of recommending that the ingredient be removed from Israel’s dangerous drugs list, opening up the possibility of marketing CBD-based supplements and beauty products for retailers across the country.

CBD is currently legal in all European countries, certain US states and in Canada.
