T Hasegawa is planning to spend up to ¥4 billion to build a new manufacturing plant in Malaysia, according to a report published by Nikkei.
The company has identified a site in Enstek Industrial Park, south of Kuala Lumpur, although the schedule for construction and an online date is yet to be confirmed.
The Nikkei report also claimed that Tagasako has firmed up plans to construct a facility in Jakarta suburb Bekasi Regency. The Japanese flavors and fragrances company is said to be budgeting ¥2 billion to complete the factory, which will open in 2018.
