Johnson & Johnson has launched its Aveeno onto the Indian baby care market, according to a report published by Outlook India.
The launch is Johnson & Johnson’s first foray into the Indian premium baby care segment – and was hinted at back in 2014, when Ganesh Bangalore, J&J Marketing Manager, told The Hindu Business Line “As the skin care market evolves, we will bring in more brands which have global equity, There are safe skin brands such as Aveeno in our global portfolio.”
Aveeno is now present on 22 markets worldwide. In the US, the brand commands a 15.5 percent share of the baby and infant skin care market, according to Euromonitor figures.
