Johnson & Johnson mobilizes to support Hurricane Harvey relief efforts

Johnson & Johnson is working with three partners on the ground in Texas to provide support and aid to those affected by the flooding and devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey.

Teaming up with AmeriCares and Heart to Heart International, who are providing medical assistance and supplies, J&J has donated 25,000 hygiene kits stocked with soap, shampoo, toothpaste and other personal care items.

The company has also got its DePuy Synthes regional trauma teams on the ground to identify customer needs throughout the region and is contact with, and providing support to, the Federal Emergency Management Agency and US Department of Health and Human Services.

“It will take many months to recover, but Texas – a proud state known for its determination and strength – will survive this disaster. And we want to help them in every way we can. That’s what we’re built for – that’s the legacy of caring Johnson & Johnson has built over the past 131 years,” said Peter Fasolo, Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer.
