JOLYY to build Blockchain-powered platform for beauty salon bookings

Bulgarian start-up JOLYY is planning to build a Blockchain-powered platform which it says will revolutionize beauty salon booking systems, according to a report published by Coin Telegraph.

“Many of the existing beauty booking platforms aren’t taking full advantage of the abundant technological capabilities. Most charge high commissions of over 20 percent or are otherwise inefficient,” a representative of JOLYY told Coin Telegraph.

The new platform will allow clients to book appointments, pay for services and review salons and products as well as earn bonus coins. Cosmetic manufacturers will also be able to use the technology to advertise and arrange deliveries via smart contracts.

The platform will initially be free to use for clients and salons, later charging a commission of 1 percent on bookings.
