THE WHAT? Kanye West’s company has filed for a ‘Yeezy’ trademark covering a wide range of beauty and skin care product categories, according to a report published by TMZ.
THE DETAILS It appears that the high profile singer-songwriter could be planning to follow in his wife’s footsteps. However, this is not the first time that Kim Kardashian’s husband has filed a trademark application that covers cosmetics – a similar move in 2017 has yet to come to fruition, TMZ reports.
THE WHY? With the fashion industry struggling in the wake of the coronavirus lockdowns, West is presumably looking to diversify his offer.
