Kao is set to smash its operating profit forecast for the six months to June, 2016, according to a report published by Nikkei.
The Japanese cosmetics manufacturer is expected to announce group operating profit of ¥80 billion, well about the predicted ¥65 billion.
The company is thought to have achieved sales growth of 2 percent for the first half of the year, with revenue reaching ¥710 billion thanks to a buoyant consumer products segment, with Bioré face wash, Curel skin lotion and Kyukyuttu dish soap all selling well.
