THE WHAT? Kate Somerville Skincare has announced the release of a documentary on its eponymous Founder.
THE DETAILS Directed by Aaron Kelly and produced by Think Jam, the six-and-a-half-minute film was created in celebration of the company’s 15th anniversary and its launch timed to coincide with International Women’s Day.
“I hope this film empowers and educates people, not just on skin health, but on female entrepreneurship and perseverance,” says Somerville. “It is important for me to share this message – my background is a fundamental part of the brand and has been a driving force behind how I have been able to grow the company to where it is today.”
THE WHY? With Indie brands led by a strong figurehead trending, the brand will be keen to emphasize its women-owned status – a mini-documentary is marketing gold.
