Kiko Milano names new CEO

THE WHAT? Kiko Milano has named Simone Dominici Chief Executive Officer, according to a report published by WWD. Dominici will takeover from Cristina Scocchia who departed the company for Illy at the end of last year.

THE DETAILS Dominici joins Kiko from Coty where he was Executive Vice President for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and Global Head of Revenue Management, per WWD. He has also held senior roles at Bottega Veneta, Coin and Unilever over the course of his career.

THE WHY? Dominici told WWD, “Today the beauty industry is at the center of a cultural transformation toward more inclusive products, which are good for me, good for society, good for the planet. Beauty is energy, happiness and more positivity and now more than ever people feel the need to feel good and I believe that Kiko embodies all these values and is the main testimonial of Italian cosmetics in the world.”
