Kohl’s appoints Christie Raymond as Chief Marketing Officer

THE WHAT? Kohl’s has appointed Christie Raymond as its Chief Marketing Officer, who will be reporting directly to CEO Michelle Gass.

THE DETAILS Raymond will lead the marketing organization including Kohl’s overall marketing strategy, brand and creative, media, loyalty, customer analytics, corporate communications, and philanthropic efforts.

The exec joined Kohl’s in 2017 and has been acting as the interim Chief Marketing Officer since May 2022.

THE WHY? Aiming to help support the company’s strategy to be the retailer of choice for the active and casual lifestyle, Raymond is tasked with driving customer engagement, leverage the company’s leadership in loyalty, accelerating customer traffic, scaling Kohl’s Media Network, and continuing to build the Kohl’s brand.

Gass said, “She has been an asset to our senior executive team and she will be instrumental in our continued path forward as we deliver great value, a compelling brand portfolio and an inviting omnichannel experience to our millions of customers nationwide.”
