Kohl’s partners with Facebook to give niche online brands space in retail store

U.S. retailer Kohl’s has teamed up with Facebook in a bid to find trendy online brands and give them space in its retail store, according to a report by The Drum.

The new initiative will see Kohl’s pay Facebook an undisclosed sum in order to sift through brands on its site and Instagram, which will then be showcased in the bricks & mortar stores in a collection named Curated by Kohl’s.

It is a pioneering concept by Kohl’s in order to keep up with digital brands, rather than compete with them, and follows the move to allow Amazon customer returns in store.
