Kylie Skin hit with Notice of Suspension over trademark claim

Kylie Skin has this week been hit with a Notice of Suspension from the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office regarding a claim on the trademark of the skincare range’s name.

The skincare brand, owned by self-made billionaire Kylie Jenner, is said to cause confusion with another trademark from a Chinese company that was made before Jenner registered her trademark. Shenzhen Hedi cosmetic tools Co., based in China, filed a trademark in 2017 for ‘Kylie’ with the intention to sell cosmetics tools and brushes.

Kylie Skin is the latest arm of Jenner’s ‘Kylie’ umbrella, with a face wash, toner, face scrub, serum, moisturizer and eyecream in the range.
