L’Occitane to move New York flagship further down 5th Avenue

L’Occitane is moving its New York flagship store a few blocks down from its current location at 610 Fifth Avenue, according to a report published by The Real Deal.

The company has signed a lease for a 3,378 square foot property at ATCO Properties’ 55 Fifth Avenue building.

The building commands a retail rent of US$1,100 per square foot and neighbors Barnes & Noble on the corner of East 46th Street. The store is slated to open this summer, with three levels of retail space comprising 1,870 square feet on the ground floor, 1,134 square feet at mezzanine level and a further 374 square feet in the basement.
