L’Oréal Canada creates new Chief Retail Officer role

L’Oréal Canada creates new Chief Retail Officer role

L’Oréal Canada has created a new Chief Retail Officer role; a first throughout the L’Oréal Americas zone.

The new role was generated in response to the important changes in the dynamic of the Canadian branded retail landscape as well as to realize the brand’s ambition to improve the consumer experience in a complex omni-channel world.

Jared MacKay has been named as the first CRO, charged with developing a holistic retail strategy, creating and negotiating strategic partnerships with real estate landlords, developing leading retail operation solutions and synergies in back-office procedures as well as establishing seamless omni-channel experiences.

MacKay joins L’Oréal from footwear retailer Aldo.
