L’Oréal creates new Deputy GM, L’Oréal Luxe role as division snowballs

L’Oréal has created a new role for its Luxe division on the back of the unit’s steady growth and increasing number of brands. Cyril Chapuy has been named Deputy General Manager L’Oréal Luxe in charge of international brands.

Chapuy will report to Nicolas Hieronimus, President Selective Divisions of L’Oréal. Chapuy joined the French beauty behemoth in 1993 as Product Manager for L’Oréal Paris. He has since occupied several key roles in the organization including heading up the Consumer Division in Brazil, taking over the General Management of the Maybelline international marketing team and, most recently, heading up the group’s flagship brand, L’Oréal Paris.

“Cyril Chapuy is widely recognised in the group for his vision, his strategic and marketing competency, his flair for visuals and brands, and his advertising talent,” said the company in a statement.
