L’Oréal drafts in Sex and the City illustrator Megan Hess to promote Kératase Fusio Dose

L’Oréal has commissioned famed illustrator Megan Hess to create a series of original artworks to promote the latest launch, Fusio Dose, from its professional hair care brand Kératase on Instagram, according to a report published by WWD.

Hess has worked with several high-profile brands, including Chanel, Dior and Givenchy but is most known for the illustrations she created for Candace Bushnell’s Sex and the City books.

The Kératase illustrations will be released on Fridays, accompanied by the hash-tag #FusioFriday on the brand’s Instagram account for the rest of the year.

“Kératase has recognized that 87 percent of women love the backwash experience; in fact, it is their favorite time spent in the salon,” Kératase UK General Manager Aurelien Guibret told WWD. “Following the fact that the highest percentage of appointments take place on a Friday, we really wanted to celebrate this moment. Working with Megan was a natural fit, as she has the ability to bring the service and woman of Kératase to life in an engaging way.”
