L’Oréal’s UK headquarters sold to real estate investment club FORE partnership

The London-based L’Oréal UK headquarters have been sold to pan-European real investment club FORE Partnership for £58million, acquired from Standard Life Investments.

The building, 255 Hammersmith Road, is located close to Hammersmith Tube Station and has 110,100 sq ft office space situated over eight floors.

L’Oréal has the lease on the building until September 2022, with FORE Partnership said to be keen to work alongside the beauty giant on a responsible and holistic real estate approach that works both on traditional green principles of practices such as reducing carbon through less water, energy and waste strategies, while also looking a focus on health and wellbeing initiatives.

Basil Demeroutis, Managing Partner of FORE, says: “We are very excited about the acquisition of 255 Hammersmith Road, which is located in one of London’s strongest sub-markets. We view properties as an expression of our and our occupiers’ values and purpose and focus on creating workspaces that empower staff and foster innovation and creativity. We believe this is an incredibly dynamic building with great potential.”
