L’Oréal’s Urban Decay launches e-commerce site in Korea, further local APAC sites planned for 2016

Hot on the tails of Urban Decay’s official Hong Kong launch in June last year, L’Oréal has launched two new websites for the pioneering make-up brand in partnership with e-commerce solutions provider OSF Global Services – an e-commerce site for the Korean market and a marketing site for Hong Kong. Further sites for the APAC region will launch throughout 2016.

Urban Decay Hong Kong is available in both English and Chinese, and features tools designed to influence customer behavior through added-value care routines. Urban Decay Korea, meanwhile, has an added e-commerce capability.

According to OSF, Urban Decay’s objective was to build its global presence with localized content for individual markets. “OSF perfectly understands the many layers of globalization: it creates a global repository, then enables each country to launch a unique flagship while making sure that this new localized site remains aligned with our brand identity,” said Justin Boettcher, Director, International Digital Development at L’Oréal.
