THE WHAT? La Prairie has launched its first beauty lounge at Sydney International Airport.

THE DETAILS The skincare brand has teamed up Heinemann Tax & Duty Free to open the space, which has a welcome lounge and two private treatment rooms with consumers able to choose their own music to complement their procedures.   

THE WHY? Travel retail is seeing a slew of activity as consumers return to international travel in their droves. Express spa treatments are also witnessing a boost, with XWELL having recently unveiled its robot express manicures at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York City.
