Lancôme Travel Retail Asia Pacific partners with China Duty Free Group to launch sustainable pop-up

THE WHAT? Lancôme Travel Retail Asia Pacific has teamed up with China Duty Free Group to launch a new sustainability pop-up in Sanya, Hainan, named Let’s Grow Happiness. 

THE DETAILS Celebrating International Women’s Day, the pop-up, which runs until 14th March, at the China Duty Free Group Haitang Bay Mall, is said to showcase how sustainability enhances beauty. 

The pop-up uses sustainable materials such as recyclable and FSC certified materials, with the structure designed to be easily separated for ‘circular end-of-life recycling.’ 

Featuring the Lancome Absolue Soft Cream refill, the pop up has interactive retailtainment options, with activities such as virtual DIY rose bouquet making as well as a Sustainable Energy Bike.

Stevie Wong, Lancôme General Manager at L’Oréal Travel Retail Asia Pacific, says, “Together with China Duty Free Group, we are very pleased to celebrate International Women’s Day with such a meaningful event where we combine sustainability with beauty. We are proud to launch our first refill programme alongside the ‘Caring Together for Happier Tomorrow’ scheme; it is symbolic to our ambition to grow happiness together.”
