LAPD investigating US$4.5 million Anastasia Beverly Hills cosmetics theft

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) is currently investigating the theft of cosmetics valued at US$4.5 million, according to a report published by Teen Vogue.

The make-up haul was lifted from a warehouse in San Fernando Valley in late January, with the perpetrators reportedly stealing 100,000 units of Anastasia Beverly Hills’ Modern Renaissance eye shadow palettes. Each palette retails for US$42.

No surveillance footage exists of the heist, and police believe that the suspects gained entry via the roof. Teen Vogue reports that the LAPD is requesting that anyone with information on the theft come forward to aid the investigation.
