THE WHAT? Hong Kong-based shoe brand, Le Saunda is branching out into the world of beauty, according to a report published by Inside Retail Asia.
THE DETAILS The company has debuted a new retail brand, Charm & Easy, opening two on the Island, and one in Macau.
Charm & Easy is primarily focused on the concept of clean beauty, with more than 1,000 products sourced globally, that purport to do no harm to either the wearer or environment. Le Saunda plans to support the launch with ‘large-scale promotional activities’, Inside Retail Asia reveals.
THE WHY? The ailing footwear retailer is hoping that cosmetics could reverse its fortunes as revenue plummeted 27.4 per cent in the financial year ended February 28, 2023.
