THE WHAT? LG Household & Health Care is launching a new portable temporary tattoo printer, named Imprintu.
THE DETAILS Set to be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the tattoo printer connects to mobile devices and allows users to select images and print temporary tattoos at a resolution of 600 dots per inch.
The tattoos last for around a day and can be used on the skin and clothes.
THE WHY? The launch follows the company’s unveiling of a mini tattoo printer in the U.S. in Q4 2022, and with L’Oréal kickstarting 2023 with an investment into micro-printing firm Prinker, it seems that temporary tattoos are a growing consumer trend.
