THE WHAT? L’Oréal has announced the completed construction of its Encino-located offices for its Pulp Riot hair brand, according to San Fernando Valley Business Journal.
THE DETAILS The 6,600-square-foot offices, located at 16501 Ventura Blvd, were designed by studio Ware Malcomb and include a hair demo salon, conference rooms, open and flex offices as well as a photo studio.
Alicia Zaro, Director of Interior Architecture & Design for Ware Malcomb’s Los Angeles office, said, “This is a company with a very distinct brand, and we wanted the interior design to showcase that brand and tell a story throughout the space.
“In working closely with the team at L’Oréal and Pulp Riot, we created an environment where the company’s branding could speak for itself in a space that inspires innovation and creativity for employees and visitors alike.”
THE WHY? Also acting as a training facility for stylists, the space strengthens L’Oréal’s presence in the region, with the beauty company also owning a 240,000-square-foot distribution facility at Tejon Ranch.
