THE WHAT? L’Oréal Caribe is set to pilot a recycling scheme that will enable beauty salons in Puerto Rico to dispose of plastic responsibly, according to a report published by News is my Business.
THE DETAILS The French beauty giant has distributed 100 reusable boxes to collect recyclable plastic waste from 10 salons in Puerto Rico with an end to creating sustainable practices in salons and diverting waste from landfill.
Should the pilot prove successful, the goal is to roll out the service to salons across the country.
