L’Oréal China and JD.com update Inclusive Beauty program with new activity centre for disabled employees

L’Oréal China and JD.com have updated its Inclusive Beauty program with a new activity center for employees with disabilities.

The program, which sees the two companies join forces and provide professional training to beneficiaries to give the skills to operate e-commerce stores, will be updated with the new JD-L’Oréal Activity Center for Disabled Employees in Suqian.

According to JD.com, the centre will be ‘fully equipped with physical and emotional support to employees with disabilities, ensuring a smooth transition as they take up their new responsibilities.’

Speaking about the launch last year, Jean-Paul Agon, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of L’Oréal, said, “With our Inclusive Beauty Programme together with JD.com we want to help people with disabilities valorize and develop their talents and skills, to boost their self-confidence and to pursue their professional aspirations and dreams. This programme is about highlighting abilities over disabilities.”

Both companies are working together in the fields of e-commerce distribution, precision marketing, content marketing, analytics and data sharing, with the Inclusive Beauty program part of L’Oréal’s ongoing commitment to promoting diversity worldwide.
