L’Oréal submits application to acquire Société des Thermes de La Roche-Posay

L’Oréal has submitted an irrevocable offer to the shareholders of Holding STRP, or Société des Thermes de La Roche-Posay, to acquire all shares of the company.

Speaking of the most recent purchase, Laetitia Toupet, International General Manager of La Roche-Posay, said, “this acquisition project will enable us to sustain and reinforce the dermatologic position of La Roche-Posay by developing the existing indications and making the thermal station a flagship for the brand.”

In a week of acquisition news for the French beauty giant, the application to purchase the project follows the company’s announcement that it will acquire vegan beauty brand Logocos Naturkosmetik, with Société des Thermes de La Roche-Posay being Europe’s first thermal station dedicated to treating dermatological diseases.

L’Oréal is already the parent company of the La Roche-Posay skincare brand.
