L’Oréal teams up with Emoji to promote Lancôme skincare in China

THE WHAT? L’Oréal has teamed up with Emoji The Iconic Brand and Medialink Group to market Lancôme Tonique Confort Skincare Collection in China.

THE DETAILS The packaging for the Lancôme Tonique Confort will feature four Emoji expressions, including “laugh,” “love” and “monkey”, while the special edition product also features a pink Emoji headband.

THE WHY? As skincare thrives as a COVID-19 winner, the marriage with a social media stalwart – another pandemic triumph – such as Emoji is a clever and strategic marketing move for L’Oréal. 

Nicoletta Chiu, Executive Director, Medialink Group, said, “Good skincare is what everyone wants, and now they can have it as well as unique Emoji brand packaging that just adds to the wonderful feeling of self-care. We are truly excited to partner with Lancôme and the Emoji brand in this campaign.”
